The holidays have come and gone already. Hope
everyone had a great holiday and will enjoy a happy and
healthy new year.
We have been awarding Lifetime memberships to
several of our members. So far this year there have been
four recipients. They are: Betty Waffe, Alta Byrne, Bill
Falkin and Hans Petersen. Betty and Bill have been past
presidents, Hans is a longtime member along with Betty
and Bill. Alta, after moving here, has been a dedicated and
hard-working member. They are perfect examples of what
we perceive a booster club member to be. They may not
be able to attend many meetings now, but what they have
done in the past speaks for their loyalty to the club. Just
seeing them at a game makes one realize that their
dedication to hockey doesn’t stop. If you see them,
congratulate them and wish them well.
We’re halfway through the season and the team looks
pretty good. Let’s all get out and support them. Hope to
see you at a game, home or away.
